Vitamin B1 is essential for plants because it helps them in carbohydrate production and metabolism that fuel foliar and floral growth. It also assists plants in phosphorus uptake. Phosphorus is a major essential nutrient for plants, especially in the bloom phase.

Folic acid, also called vitamin B9, enables plants to regulate their DNA functions. Folic acid additionally enables plants to produce RNA, a nucleic acid that carries information from DNA to plant cell structures known as ribosomes and helps a plant synthesize protein. Plants need protein to build up the structures in their cells.

The amino acid L-tryptophan acts as a precursor of auxins in plants. Auxins are a family of plant hormones controlling various functions, such as root initiation and development, leaf formation, fruit development, and many more. The L-Tryptophan we use is produced through fermentation process with bacterial strains.

It has been proven that this amino acid acts synergistically with phytohormones, especially when algae extracts are being used. It is a special case when humic acids are also utilized – in this case, L-Tryptophan and phytohormones showcase a much-prolonged activity.
