The SunPro Intercanopy LED BAR 25W is a supplementary lighting system with a high red and blue light spectrum.

With a power of 30W and an efficiency of 3.3 µmol/J, it is an excellent choice for enhancing the red spectrum between the lower parts of the plant.

In indoor cultivation systems, plants depend on the primary artificial light source placed above them. However, as the distance increases, the light generated spreads over a larger area, and its intensity decreases. Therefore, the highest yields and quality are mostly at the tops of the plants. The lower branches, often shaded leaves, receive significantly less light, causing their development to lag.

To address this, a new technology called “intercanopy light” has been developed. This is supplementary lighting in the form of LED tubes that emit light in two directions and are specifically designed to hang directly between the plants. They feature very high efficiency and low power consumption. They produce minimal heat, so they can be safely placed close to the plants. Their high durability also makes them suitable for use with plant sprays.

It also eliminates shaded areas and ensures even growth of all parts of the plant, resulting in higher yields, consistently high product quality, and an increase in secondary metabolites content.
