Product detailed description

Ozone generator - 20g of ozone per hour. Suitable for rooms up to 2400m3.

Ozone generators are used for sterilizing spaces from viruses, bacteria, and mold. High-performance ozone generators, delivering high ozone concentration per m3, are used in clinics, exposed areas like doctor's waiting rooms, buses, subways, hotels, apartments, etc. High doses of ozone can sterilize the exposed space within minutes.

The most affordable and easiest sterilization method, as the gas reaches every nook and cranny. Ozone generators do not replace mechanical disinfection.

These devices are commonly used in restaurants, where, due to surrounding requirements (city centers, proximity to residential areas), it is necessary not to release odors. They are also used in water treatment plants, sewage systems, biogas plants, or facilities requiring one-time disinfection and odor removal, such as locker rooms, gyms, stables, restaurants, and places previously used for different purposes and inadequately renovated, where persistent odors remain, such as deep cigarette smells absorbed into furniture, walls, interiors, etc.

In some cases, ozone generators can completely replace a carbon filter and remove odors. However, they are primarily intended as a supplement to a final or continuous carbon filter. In restaurants or kitchens, multi-stage filtration (extraction hood/activated carbon, grease filter) is required, followed by the ozone generator as the final step.

Ozone is a corrosive element, so it is recommended as a final step. Otherwise, it accelerates the corrosion of metal parts in ventilation systems.

Despite the higher initial cost, ozone generators are a great investment with a quick return, especially when they can completely replace a carbon filter, offering a return on investment within 1-2 years. Due to low service costs, which involve replacing plates (approximately 600 CZK per plate, with a lifespan of about 2 years), ozone generators are very cheap to operate. The number of plates in the generator varies depending on airflow (1-10 plates) and energy consumption (from 10 to 32W).

Tube ozone generator Cleans air from microorganisms and odors Diameter: 315mm, airflow up to 3000m3/h, consumption: 22W, contains 4 plates that generate ozone – replacement/servicing is done in the UK.

Ozone consists of three oxygen atoms, O3. It forms due to UV radiation, the reaction of nitrogen oxide with volatile organic compounds, and during atmospheric discharges. After thunderstorms with numerous lightning strikes, we often feel fresher air because of the presence of ozone. Ozone destroys viruses, bacteria, allergens, and mold spores without using chemicals. Therefore, ozone disinfection is used in medicine, water treatment, and other fields. It also breaks down and removes odors. Ozone provides a clean and healthy environment free from harmful particles. As one of the strongest oxidants, ozone is used in disinfection, deodorization, and even in decolorizing or removing unpleasant tastes from some food products. It is used in the form of gas (more commonly) or ozonated water. Strong oxidants are primarily used in deodorization because they change the properties of various organic compounds responsible for unpleasant odors. Ozone effectively destroys bacteria, mold, and viruses, making it useful in all kinds of disinfection.

Ozone does not mask the cause of the odor, but permanently removes it!

The applications of ozone are numerous. Procedures using ozone are environmentally friendly and even accepted in organic food production. Ozone generates no byproducts. It is unstable and quickly breaks down into oxygen. One downside of ozone is that it is a corrosive gas with respect to metals. It is harmful to electrical devices (wiring) as it can oxidize the surface of metal equipment.

For effective disinfection and efficient odor removal using "active oxygen" (O3), we offer ozone generators. The device processes oxygen (O2), which is partially converted into unstable ozone (O3) through "silent" discharges. We recommend using them in combination with fans, which we are happy to offer. With high fan speeds, which process dozens of cubic meters of air in a short time, these ozone generators are ideal for a wide range of applications.

Note: OZONE is a toxic gas. The device must be placed at the "outlet" to the outside where it mixes with the air, never inside a room.
