Ozonizer OZOKILLER - Ø200mm - 7g/h
Code: AZ-200-6Product detailed description
Ozone generator, 7g ozone per hour. Suitable for rooms up to a maximum of 850m3.
Ozone generators are used for sterilizing spaces from viruses, bacteria, and fungi. High-performance ozone generators, which provide concentrated ozone per cubic meter, are supplied to clinics, high-traffic areas such as doctor's waiting rooms, buses, subways, hotels, apartments, and more. High doses of ozone can sterilize a space within minutes. It's the most affordable and easiest sterilization method since the gas can reach every crack and crevice. Ozone generators do not replace mechanical disinfection.
These devices are often supplied to restaurants where, due to local regulations (city centers, residential areas), there is a need to avoid emitting odors. They are also used in water treatment plants, sewage systems, biogas stations, and places where active ozone is used for one-time disinfection of spaces and odor removal, such as locker rooms, gyms, stables, restaurants, or places previously used for other purposes and inadequately renovated, where persistent odors (such as cigarette smoke) are embedded in furniture, walls, or interiors.
Ozone generators can sometimes completely replace carbon filters for odor removal. However, they are primarily used as a complement to the final or continuous carbon filter. In cases of use in restaurants or kitchens, additional multi-stage filtration (e.g., hood filters, activated carbon, grease filters) is required before connecting the ozone generator as an output member.
Ozone is a corrosive element, so it is recommended as a final stage. Otherwise, it can accelerate the corrosion of metal parts in air conditioning systems.
Despite higher initial costs, it is a great investment with a quick return, especially if it can fully replace a carbon filter. In such cases, the return on investment is within 1-2 years. Due to low service costs (plate replacement, approximately 600 CZK per plate with a lifespan of 2 years), ozone generators are very cost-effective to operate, with a power consumption ranging from 10W to 32W and typically 1 to 10 plates, depending on airflow.
Tube ozone generator:
- Cleans the air from microorganisms and odors
- Diameter: 200mm
- Airflow up to 1200m3/h
- Power consumption: 22W
- Contains 2 plates that generate ozone
- Servicing/replacement occurs in the UK.
Ozone (O3) is made up of three oxygen atoms. It is created through UV radiation, reactions with nitrogen oxide, volatile organic compounds, and during atmospheric discharges. After thunderstorms with numerous lightning strikes, we often feel fresher air due to the presence of ozone. Ozone eliminates viruses, bacteria, allergens, and fungal spores without the use of chemicals. It is used in medicine, water treatment, and other industries for disinfection and deodorization. It also breaks down and removes odors, creating a clean and healthy environment. As one of the strongest oxidants, ozone is effective in deodorization, disinfection, and even in removing unpleasant tastes from food products. It is commonly used as a gas (more frequently) or in ozone water.
Ozone does not mask the cause of the odor, but permanently removes it.
The uses of ozone are numerous. Its applications are environmentally friendly and even acceptable in organic food production. The use of ozone produces no by-products since it decomposes rapidly into oxygen. However, it is important to note that ozone is corrosive to metals and can be harmful to electrical devices (wiring), as it can oxidize the surface of metal parts.
For effective disinfection and removal of odors using "active oxygen" (O3), we offer ozone generators. Air passes through the device, where oxygen (O2) is partially converted into unstable ozone (O3) through "silent" discharges. We recommend using ozone generators in combination with fans, which can also be provided. Due to the high rotation speed of the fan, which processes dozens of cubic meters of air in a short time, these ozone generators are ideal for a wide range of applications.
Note: OZONE is a toxic gas. The device must be placed at an "exit" point to release ozone into the open air, not inside a room.
