Ozone consists of three oxygen atoms, O3. It is formed by UV radiation, but also as a result of the reaction of nitric oxide with volatile organic compounds and also during atmospheric discharges. Ozone eliminates viruses, bacteria, allergens and mold spores - without the use of chemicals. Disinfection with this gas is therefore used in medicine, water supply and other fields. At the same time, it splits odors and removes them. It ensures a clean and healthy environment without harmful particles. Ozone is one of the strongest oxidants, so it is used during disinfection and deodorization, as well as during bleaching or removing unpleasant taste from some food products. It is dangerous for electrical equipment (lines) as it can oxidize the surface of metal equipment.
Ozone generators mean efficient disinfection and efficient removal of odors with "active oxygen" (O3). Oxygen O2 passes through the device, which is partially converted into unstable ozone O3 by means of "silent" discharges.
