Samples are measured after simple user calibration with deionized or distilled water.
Within a few seconds, the device measures the refractive index of the sample and converts it to% sugar thanks to the concentration unit.
The MA871 digital refractometer eliminates the uncertainty associated with mechanical refractometers and is easily portable for field measurements.
The measurement and temperature compensation techniques use the methodology recommended in the ICUMSA method book (Internationally Recognized Sugar Analysis Authority).
