Calcium is essential for the proper development of the cell structure and thus for the vitality of the whole plant. In contrast, magnesium affects the formation of chlorophyll, which is essential for the proper functioning of photosynthesis.

CalMag must be applied when using rainwater or water from a reverse osmosis unit. It is also irreplaceable when grown in recirculation systems and bubblers, because it is absorbed very quickly by plants. It is also good to use it for buffering coconut or when growing mother plants. Older mother plants consume calcium too quickly, so the development of new shoots may be weakened - it is therefore good to add it to the nutrient solution at least once a week.

Important: Calcium as a separate element can be mixed to a lesser extent only with micronutrients or with nitrogen, as, as with Silicon, it is a highly reactive element. For this reason, it is recommended to add it immediately after Vitalize before other nutrients!
