Light movers can save a certain part of the acquisition costs, spent on the main lighting sets and consequently on their operating costs, as they can illuminate an area suitable for three lights with one set only thanks to the movement, but it must be admitted that not so efficiently.

Therefore, movers are usually a suitable supplement for better use of light sources in illuminated greenhouses or large growing boxes, or they are used in growing crops that are less demanding on the intensity of light flux.
