Be aware that if you do not calibrate your EC meters at regular intervals using Growth Technology solutions, the accuracy of the EC values given by the instrument will be unreliable. This can lead to serious crop losses and, if this condition persists, damage to the plants.
When calibrating, it is advisable to use only a small sample of the solution in a separate container, check the meter and then pour out the solution. Pouring out the used solution will prevent possible contamination of the fresh solution and ensure a longer service life of the calibration solution.
