Farmer's Choice Coco Opentop bags are pre-filled bags with coconut fiber, ready for immediate use. They contain a special blend of coco peat and coconut chips without fine dust. The bags are designed to retain moisture while allowing adequate air access. The coconut mix undergoes a 4-6 week aging process, during which the EC is adjusted and the fiber's flexibility is enhanced. The mix is also thoroughly washed through the MaxWash process, which removes salts and impurities, reducing Na and Cl content to less than 70 ppm.
