The word "mycorrhiza" comes from Greek and means "mushroom root". This is a symbiotic coexistence of plants with certain fungi, resp. mushrooms. Mycorrhizae are essential in nature for all plants to survive. They are perfectly adapted to find water and minerals in the soil and pass them on to the plant. It uses photosynthesis to produce the necessary oxygen compounds, which in turn nourishes the mold.

Both components of mycorrhiza are mutually beneficial and this is also the reason why more than 99% of all plants undergo such symbiosis. These fungi grow inside and around the root of the plant. From the root, they grow into the ground and form a dense network of fine fungal fibers. It enlarges the root system and thus improves the intake of water and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium hydroxide and trace elements.

Fungi can also reach soil openings, which are too small for plant roots, and can expose bound elements to the plant. Package 100g.
