We never manipulate the lamp or ballast when they are connected to the mains. Every electrical device must be protected against improper handling, shocks and water or high humidity. Likewise, we never touch the lamp glass with wet or bare hands. We use gloves or a cotton cloth.

Protect fragile lamps from shocks, do not use damaged ones and dispose of them in special waste. Wear eye and skin protection (goggles, clothing, etc.) when working under light.
